3 career pivots,

10+ years,

1 company

I joined the workforce immediately after finishing undergrad, and I spent 10+ years consecutive years at a bulge bracket, multinational institution in the financial services industry. I know - rare these days. Even more rare, I navigated three career pivots during my time there, without an additional degree, shifting from banking > consulting > tech and entrepreneurship

Why I Made The Changes

Things didn’t feel right. I was packing on experience and learnings along the way, but the long-term goal never felt fulfilling or purposeful. Something felt missing. Add to that the grueling hours, tough work environments, and stress. What was manageable before soon became mentally and physically impossible.  There had to be more.

In all the uncertainty, I was certain about one thing: that I didn’t know enough about what options I had. I would have to explore and experiment with completely different industries in order to flex different muscles and see what type of work I liked, and what fit me best. Trial and error.

How I Made The Changes

Embracing a growth mindset, experimenting, asking questions, talking to people, upskilling, thinking originally, and receiving support and guidance from my peers at all stages of their careers. I could not have done it alone.
